Realme GT5 Now Official With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 And 24GB RAM Memory

 


Realme GT5 was officially announced in China a while ago, at the same time becoming another choice of device with a large memory of 24GB RAM. It is also marketed as a benchmark class specification device through the features and functions provided.



Among the interesting things highlighted include the back panel of the advertised device complete with 'magic glass'. Basically it is said to be an innovation developed by Realme that is trying to change the glass manufacturing industry for smartphones. It is also understood that the manufacturing process takes almost fifteen months which also includes the research and development process.



The next interesting thing is the built-in RGB lighting support on the back panel of the device. It can be found next to the camera module with a choice of up to 26 customizable colors. The device is also available in two battery capacity options such as 4,600mAh that supports a 240W fast charging system, while another model with a 5,240mAh battery is equipped with 150W fast charging.



Furthermore, the screen is 6.74-inch FHD+ with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It also supports Pro XDR technology which according to Realme allows the content of the screen to appear brighter with beautiful colors. This is also matched with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, memory up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and internal storage up to 1TB UFS 4.0 for the mainstay of the device.


The main camera consists of a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor that supports built-in OIS. Then followed by an 8MP sensor for wide angle and 2MP for macro. The front camera is 16MP which is placed in a small hole on the front screen. The device also packs a stereo speaker system that is also tuned with HiRes Audio/Dolby Atmos.




Selling prices start at RMB2,999 (~RM1,913) (12GB/256GB) and RMB3,299 (~RM2,104) (16GB/512GB) for models with 150W charging. Then increases to RMB2,999 (~RM1,913) (12GB/256GB), RMB3,299 (~RM2,104) (16GB/512GB) and RMB3,799 (~RM2,423) (24GB/1TB) for models with 240W charging.
