Today in conjunction with their 8th anniversary, Shopback has launched their new payment method, ShopBack Pay. This feature allows users to make payments in full or in installments and at the same time can also get cash back. Users can make payments using debit cards and credit cards that have been set in the user's ShopBack application.
To make a payment at a physical store, the user only needs to scan the QR code at the payment counter and enter the amount to be paid, choose whether to make the payment in full or in installments. Then enter the promotional code if available, choose to get cash back then you can proceed to make payment.
Previously, ShopBack had launched ShopBack PayLater to divide the payment into three installments without any interest. But at today's launch they have updated the ShopBack PayLater feature by allowing users to make a full payment through their preferred payment method and at the same time still enjoy cashback.
According to ShopBack, today they have reached up to 500,000 transactions a day and now the total amount of cashback received by users is over RM200 million. They also stated that by offering this ShopBack PayLater feature, they have helped brands to increase their sales. This is because through this payment method, the monthly expenditure of their customers is seen to increase up to 18% every month for each customer and it also increases the percentage of existing customers up to 27% to continue spending.
Among the brands that support this ShopBack feature are Agoda, Royal Sporting House, Puma, Tudung People, Bata and many more. Through the ShopBack Pay and PayLater features, people can now enjoy the convenience of payment just at their fingertips to make purchases. People can also get double cash back when shopping online or in physical stores, making the spending more worthwhile.
