Yesterday we reported that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be the first device seen to offer a total of 24GB of physical memory. Unsurprisingly, it uses SK Hynix's latest memory offering, which is a 24GB LPDDR5X memory package.
SK Hynix is among the largest smartphone memory suppliers in the world, and with the announcement of the latest OnePlus device, they have also confirmed that they have started mass-producing LPDDR5X 24GB memory for market use.
This 24GB LPDDR5X memory operates in a voltage range of 1.01-1.12V, and comes with a data transmission rate of 68GB/s, which is slightly lower than the LPDDR5T memory that they introduced earlier this year.
As said, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is the first device to use this 24GB LPDDR5X memory, and it is expected that many other Android devices will follow soon.
