Despite not listing Malaysia as a country where the subscription price will be increased a few days ago, it now appears that Spotify has made a U-turn, and has sent an email to users to notify them of the increase in subscription prices in the coming months.
Through the email sent, the Spotify Premium plan for individuals which cost RM14.90 per month before, will be increased to RM15.90 per month after this.
Besides that, Premium Family which cost RM23.80 per month before will be increased to RM24.90 per month after this. The Spotify Duo plan will cost RM21.50 per month after this.
For information, the price for new users has been increased by Spotify to RM15.90 per month and Premium Family to RM24.90 per month since several months ago. Now, through an email sent, it is seen that all existing Spotify Premium users will also be subject to the new price starting from the September bill.
