Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has now shared the target of creating around 5000 start-up companies by 2025. For that purpose, various initiatives will be implemented to strengthen the ecosystem, as well as increase the involvement of local startups.
This matter was shared after the first meeting of the Digital Economy Council and the Fourth National Industrial Revolution which took place today.
For information, this target is a continuation of MOSTI's planning under the "Malaysia Startup Ecosystem Roadmap 2021-2030" plan which aims to create more than 5000 start-up companies, in addition to 5 giant unicorn companies.
There are various agencies that are now helping to realize the matter, including from the aspects of financing, marketing, development and so on.
