Millions of people will lose their jobs due to robots and artificial intelligence. This can no longer be prevented as the cost of replacing humans with automatons is seen as more cost effective. The company Somatic for example offers their toilet cleaning robot at a price starting at $1000 per month which is cheaper than human workers.
The Somatic Robot can clean a bowl-type toilet, and stand up. Plus it can clean the seat area and bottom before drying it for the next user. After that the floor area of the toilet cubicle can also be cleaned. It is also programmed with the ability to open the toilet door.
All this is done with a robot pre-trained with the toilet floor space in virtual reality. In the real world the LiDAR system will ensure that robots can see their surroundings more clearly in three dimensions.
If the robot finds a toilet that is too dirty for it to clean, it will take a picture for the manager who then dispatches a human toilet cleaner who can do it. In short, in the future humans will only be needed for more complicated tasks.
