This Is A Shoe That's Also A Working Printing Machine

A shoe and a printing machine are two man-made objects that typically do not meet in a Venn diagram. But Taylor Tabb, a designer has already produced Footprints which is a pair of shoes that also works as a printing machine.

Footprints can print on any flat surface with the printer part placed on the sole of the shoe. To enable this to be done, a Princube compact printer has been modified to fit into Footprints.

The HP logo is placed on the side and tongue of this shoe and there is a tube containing ink on the right side of the shoe. This is purely aesthetic as the ink tank is placed on the base.

At this time Footprints is just a concept by Tabb who is thinking about what would happen if HP collaborated with Converse. Only a pair of Footprints were produced and they are not for sale.
