Continuing from our report yesterday, Telekom Malaysia has now provided an extended comment, stating the Unifi 2Gbps package at the original price, through physical Unifi Stores nationwide.
Previously, through the Unifi website, TM showed 2Gbps and 1Gbps packages with increased prices. This is because of the inclusion of the Unifi TV Ultimate Max Pack plan – which also includes Netflix along with it. The offered web subscription price is RM428.90 per month for 2Gbps and RM378.90 per month for 1Gbps - which also comes with the Unifi TV Ultimate Max Pack plan.
There is no option to change the settings included on the web. TM says users can change it at the Unifi Store, and also get it at the initial launch price of the day-long Unifi Ultra plan.
Unifi did not specify the price of the sales package at the Unifi Store. At launch, Unifi 2Gbps is offered at a price of RM399 per month, Unifi 1Gbps at a price of RM349 per month. Both plans come with the Unifi TV Ultimate Pack, which also includes subscriptions to 7 streaming apps, including Disney+ Hotstar.
