To Tweetdeck users today is a sad day because this popular Twitter client can no longer be used for free. As promised by X last month, Tweetdeck requires an X Blue subscription to use. If Tweetdeck is accessed by a user without a Blue subscription, the image below will be displayed.
Tweetdeck has also been re-branded as X Pro starting today. The original rebranding was done to match the product name that no longer wanted to be recognized as Twitter. Elon Musk's act of charging for services that were once useless did not receive a positive reaction from users. We ourselves as Tweetdeck users for over a decade have subscribed to Blue solely to use the X Pro.
