Telekom Malaysia is now increasing the subscription price for their high speed internet plan, Unifi 2Gbps. At the time of introduction, it was offered at a subscription price of RM399 per month, but the subscription price has now been increased to RM428.90 per month.
The increase of RM29.90 is seen to be due to the inclusion of a Netflix subscription together with the package. Customers are not given the option to subscribe without it at this time.
For now, TM does not offer a subscription option without Unifi TV package participation for 2Gbps and 1Gbps packages.
In addition to the 2Gbps package, the 1Gbps subscription price has also been increased to RM378.90 per month (compared to RM349 per month previously) due to the inclusion of the Netflix package along with it.
