Mark Zuckerberg today announced the introduction of an upgrade in sending pictures through WhatsApp, which is support for sending pictures in high resolution or known as HD on WhatsApp.
Previously, users usually had to send photos in document form to send photos at high quality or resolution. Through this change, users can easily do it by choosing to send pictures, and press on the HD label when sending.
This makes it easier to send photos to other users at a high resolution. Users will also be notified of the resolution rate that will be sent when selecting this HD option.
This new feature has been rolled out to everyone and is expected to be rolled out to iOS and Android in stages.
