X or Twitter's previous name is already famous for sharing news links and so on. X / Twitter itself previously implemented a design called "Cards" where it shows a preview of any link shared on the platform.
However, now under Elon Musk, things are expected to change. According to Fortune's initial report, it is said that X will remove the "Cards" feature, where no more previews for links will be displayed on the platform.
On the other hand, users need to upload a text and image together with a link when shared in order to show the shared info. Alternatively, Elon Musk also shared that he would publish directly on the X platform, and have the opportunity to make money through it.
It is not yet known when this change will be implemented by X.
