Xiaomi Band 8 Pro has been officially announced in China just now. It is an updated variant of the Xiaomi Band 8 that was announced last April with improvements and better capabilities.
Among them, the screen is now larger at 1.74-inches compared to the 1.62-inches used on the Band 8. This is combined with a choice of straps that can also be modified according to the user's style, which not only has cheerful colors. In fact, the types are also different which include steel, leather and silicone.
A variety of standard fitness and health features including heart rate monitoring, sleep patterns, SpO2, daily pressure and over 150 built-in sports modes are also provided. Upgrades are also made to the built-in sensor which is said to be able to optimize the algorithm for better readings.
Also included is an NFC feature and passes the 5ATM waterproof rating. The included 289mAh battery can last up to two weeks in total. The Band 8 Pro retail price starts at RMB399 (~RM253) for the steel/silicone strap and RMB499 (~RM285) for the leather strap.
