Xiaomi is known for great smartphones at affordable prices. They are also known for taking a lot of inspiration from Apple. Their operating system for smartphones which is MIUI has a lot in common with iOS.
Recently, Xiaomi is seen to have registered a trademark for MiOS. In the registration list, MiOS is said to be used on a wide variety of products such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearable devices. According to a Gizchina report, MiOS may still be based on Android so that means it's not like HarmonyOS which is completely trying to replace Android.
Sources say that it is also uncertain if MiOS will be used on the recently leaked Xiaomi MS11 car. There is no further information about this operating system and when it will be launched. Maybe for a new sub-brand? Maybe a MIUI replacement? Let's wait together.
