Last April, YouTube introduced a new streaming feature called 1080p Premium. This feature allows users to stream video content at high bit rates for sharper and clearer visual quality. Recently, YouTube has expanded this feature to the desktop after months of being limited to iOS devices only. This means you can stream action videos in any web browser without having to worry about the video appearing broken or having unpleasant artifacts.
It's a bit disappointing that this feature is still not offered to Android users. As of today there is still no announcement as to whether 1080p Premium streaming will be offered to other platforms or not. Let's wait together.
