YouTube Will Stop Recommending Videos To Watch If "Watch History" Is Turned Off

On YouTube, users can choose to turn the "Watch History" feature on or off. The feature is provided to make it easier for YouTube to suggest videos according to your viewing history - in addition, users can easily check the videos they have watched before.

However, if a user chooses to turn off the feature, starting today, YouTube will no longer recommend videos for that user to continue watching.

This will make the experience of using YouTube a little different, and there is no specific background for the suggested videos. Users can continue to view subscribed videos and watch only favorite videos.

This update to YouTube is rolling out to everyone starting today, and it may take a few months before everyone gets it.
