Saudi Arabia changed their image from a petroleum producing country to a world leading tourist destination. Several mega projects have already been announced in the Neom area of northern Saudi Arabia which will have the world's longest building and a luxury resort. The latest crystal-like tower project as high as 330 meters will be developed in Neom.
The Trojena project in Neom will host the 2029 Asian Winter Games. A sports complex and resort for winter sports such as snowboarding is being built. This crystal-like tower was designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and will house a hotel, shopping center and convention center.
Detailed information on the number of floors, construction costs and when it will be fully completed has not been announced. The model shown shows it being built on a hillside with a landing center for VTOL flying vehicles.
