During the opening event of the Predator League Asia Pacific 2024 e-sports competition that took place this morning, Acer Malaysia also showed two new gaming screen displays for the local market, namely the Predator X27U and the Predator CG48 4K OLED.
Starting with the Predator X27U, this screen display uses a 26.5-inch OLED panel with WQHD resolution (2560×1440) and a very fast 240Hz refresh rate, suitable for those who play computer games in the FPS genre such as Counter Strike, Call of Duty, Valorant and so on.
This display also comes with color processing with Delta < 1, comes with a brightness value of 1000 nits and also supports HDR10 technology as well as AMD FreeSync Premium. The design of the screen display base is also very robust, and easily modified for a more ergonomic position.
This screen display also comes with a built-in KVM switch that allows the user to switch the input of the computer being used, in case the user has two computers connected to the same screen display.
More interestingly, it also comes with a USB Type-C plug with 90W charging support that allows you to charge your laptop while in use using only one cable when it is connected to the Predator X27U display.
Turning to the Predator CG48 4K OLED screen, this is a BFGD (Big Format Gaming Display) screen introduced by Acer Malaysia for the local market, and it is a 48-inch OLED screen with 4K resolution and a 138Hz refresh rate.
This display is also capable of processing 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and also supports display technologies such as HDR10 and AMD FreeSync Premium which can be used for various types of leisure purposes.
Although it can be matched with a powerful gaming computer, this Predator CG48 4K OLED display is suitable for use with Sony PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X consoles because of the support for Variable Refresh Rate on this display which is very useful for game consoles in particular.
In terms of plug options, this Predator CG48 4K OLED also comes with a choice of one HDMI 2.1 plug, three HDMI 2.0 plugs, one DisplayPort 1.4 plug, one USB Type-C plug with PD 65W charging and one USB 3.2 Type-A hub with four plugs Built-in USB.
Acer Malaysia says that the Predator X27U and Predator CG48 4K have already started to be offered in the local market at a price of RM3999 (Predator X27U) and RM5999 (Predator CG48 4K).
