Adobe Firefly was made public last week allowing this generative artificial intelligence (AI) to generate background images based on text, add missing images in photos, automatically colorize images and more on Adobe products such as Photoshop and Illustrator. Adobe has already announced the credit system will be applied but on the day of launch the information is less clear.
They finally published an FAQ page that explains usage and the amount of credit each customer receives. First of all one credit is required to use Generative Fill, Generative Expand, Text to image and Generative Recolor features. Each image has a size limit of up to 2000×2000 pixels. Adobe will provide support for larger sized images in the future but the amount of credit used is still being fine-tuned.
The amount of monthly credits received by Adobe plan customers is as below. All credits will be set at the beginning of each month. In software such as Photoshop and Illustrator, the Firefly feature can be used only once a day after the monthly credit is exhausted. For complete terms and conditions please go to the link below.
