Anthropic is one of the artificial intelligence development firms that is said to be among OpenAI's competitors. It is ready to receive investment from several parties including Google before.
Interestingly, today Amazon also announced they will invest up to $4 billion (~RM18.7 billion) in Anthropic. Amazon will make a phased investment in Anthropic, and take a minority stake in the firm.
Anthropic offers chatbot support called Cloude 2, and is in the process of developing next-generation artificial intelligence that has 10 times the capabilities of AI offerings on the market today. For now, Cloude is still limited to users in the US and UK only, and it is not yet known when it will be extended to everyone.
With this investment as well, Anthropic will use AWS cloud services as the main cloud service.
