Last week, the Geekbench 6 benchmark score of the iPhone 15 Pro had an A17 Pro performance improvement of around 10% higher than the A16 Bionic and 44.3% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Today AnTuTu released the benchmark score of the iPhone 15 Pro with the A17 with it recorded 1,641,883 marks. This makes it the most powerful processor in the Antutu 3D charts so far.
The iPhone 14 Pro scored 1,474,011 while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in the RedMagic 8 Pro+ scored 1,632,859. Based on this score, the A17 Pro only recorded a performance improvement of around 0.55% compared to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
Apple's latest processing chip is the A17 Pro, which is the first chip in the world with a 3nm design. This chip is used on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max which is matched with 8GB of RAM and internal storage of up to 1TB.
However, benchmark scores are purely numbers and actual usage plays more of a role. Although AnTuTu only recorded a small improvement, the iPhone 15 Pro can play console games but Android devices with roughly the same power are limited to the former.
