Apple Adds MacBook Pro 2017 With TouchBar Under List of Obsolete Devices

Apple is one of the companies that is active in managing and listing their devices that are categorized as "obsolete" - where it will no longer receive warranty and support for repairs.

Most recently, Apple has listed MacBook Pro 2017 that comes with Touch Bar support under obsolete devices. This was one of the first Apple products to come with TouchBar support since it was introduced in 2016. However, now Apple no longer offers Touch Bar on their computers.

With this transition, for those of you using a 2017 MacBook Pro with TouchBar, you may be able to look at some alternatives in getting a repair service – or maybe switch to a new MacBook.
