Asus is ready to introduce the Asus ROG Ally and offer it in Malaysia from June 2023 at a price of RM3299. Interestingly, now Asus has added another variation of ROG Ally under their offer, which is ROG Ally Z1.
The difference is that it comes with a slightly lower-powered processing chip, which is the AMD Ryzen Z1 compared to the model that has been offered before which comes with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip.
Other offerings aside from the chip are the same, including a 7-inch 1080p 120Hz screen, 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 512GB of storage. With the change to the chip, Asus slightly reduced its selling price compared to the original model.
According to the listing on Asus Malaysia's official website, the ROG Ally Z1 is listed at a price of RM2799 in Malaysia.
As for you, will you get the model with this slightly lower-powered chip, or stick with the original ROG Ally model with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme chip?
