Bose is the company responsible for developing the ANC system that prevents noise from hitting the ears while listening. Today they launched two new headphones and one earphone from the QuietComfort series.
The Bose QuietComfort Ultra is the flagship headphone with an ANC system that replaces the NCH700. It can operate up to 24 hours on a single charge in normal mode or 18 hours in Immersive Audio mode. It is designed for comfort with soft foam ear cups and a smooth body.
There are physical control buttons for audio as well as power. In addition to bluetooth connection, QuietComfort Ultra also supports 2.5mm wired connection. Snapdragon Sound chip is used for better audio control. The selling price is $429 (~RM2007) a pair.
Next is the QuietComfort Headphones which replace the fairly popular QC45 model. Improvements are made to the audio quality as well as the ANC system which can finally be tuned by the user. Tethering to two simultaneous devices is supported and the battery can last up to 24 hours. On this model there is no Snapdragon Sound chip. The selling price is $349 (~RM1633).
Last but not least are the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds which are also equipped with a Snapfragon Sound chip. It focuses on user comfort and supports aptX Adaptive audio along with AAC and SBC. These audio buds focus not only on the audio but the user's voice when making a voice call with it being heard more clearly. These earphones can operate for 6 hours on a single charge. A pair of QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds sells for $299 (~RM1399).
