At Apple's event this morning, some surprising announcements were made, especially for early adopters. Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Village and Assassin's Creed Mirage were all announced for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Both phones can run games previously only offered on consoles and PC for the first time on a smartphone. The enhanced GPU capabilities along with ray tracing support on the Apple A17 Bionic chip allow all games to run on the iPhone 15 Pro series but not on the iPhone 15 series.
Death Stranding, Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil Village will arrive by the end of 2023. Meanwhile, Assassin's Creed Mirage will arrive early next year. Developers now offer console-level games on smartphones. Is this an early sign that the same support will also come to Android in the near future? This will only be revealed in the Google event that will take place in a few weeks.
