Are pets at home watching TV with you? If so, Dogsplay is a smart TV that has been specially designed for use by pet dogs. According to the designers of Dogsplay, dogs need activity and this device was created to ensure that they don't get bored when they are alone at home.
It comes with an FHD screen with various streaming services supported such as Netflix and YouTube. Owners can control what videos pets can watch at home. A web camera is also included to allow the owner to contact the dog using a teleconferencing application. The screen will not be installed all the time but only activated when detecting the presence of a dog to save electricity consumption.
Dogsplay has durable legs to prevent it from falling over easily and can be raised for larger dog breeds. All cables are hidden to avoid tangled wires and there is a remote control that can be placed on the back of the Dosplay.
Currently only a version for dogs is offered with plans to also offer a version for cats. For those who are interested, Dogsplay is raising funds through the scholarship site at a price of $499 (~RM2322) apiece.
