In the early days of Facebook, all family members and friends were included in the Friend List. But after more than two decades on Facebook, many want to separate professional and personal activities from being seen by all. Today Meta announced the feature of four different profiles on Facebook.
With these profiles users can separate information and activities for personal, work and possibly business purposes. Artists for example may want one profile to interact with fans and another profile that can only be accessed by close relatives. This isolation will allow their privacy to be better protected before becoming the subject of gossip on social media.
Each profile can also use a different username. For example I would like to have a personal account as well as an account for the Obefiend online identity. However creating a new profile for the purpose of impersonating is not allowed at all. Profiles can be changed through the menu without having to log in again.
