Garmin comes up with a new wearable device with Vívoactive 5 GPS branding. Among the interesting features of this new generation is AMOLED screen support and improved battery life for better use.
Starting with the design, it combines a round watch frame and a silicone strap. The screen size is 1.2-inch AMOLED (390 X 390 pixels) with built-in always-on display support. This is also paired with various built-in fitness and health sensors that include HRV status, body battery status, menstrual cycle and pregnancy, SpO2 and so on.
There is also a built-in wheelchair mode as offered on the previous Venu 3 series. In addition to several other tracking capabilities such as meditation sessions, breathing levels, and hydration reminders. Not only that, it also contains up to 30 sports modes that users can choose from.
The included battery can last up to 11 days with smartwatch mode. It also supports Garmin Pay and 4GB of storage for music storage and the Spotify app. Garmin Vívoactive 5 is sold at a price of $299.99 (~RM1,406) with color options such as black/slate, ivory/cream gold, navy/metallic navy and orchid/metallic orchid.
