Google has previously announced Search Generative Experience (SGE), through which it uses artificial intelligence support to generate answers or info based on questions or search keywords by users. Google introduced it a few months ago, and has been testing it on a limited basis in the United States through the Search Labs experiment.
Interestingly, now the test is being extended to countries outside America - starting in Japan and also India. For now, it is still categorized as experimental, and users need to register an account to join Search Labs, before being able to activate the SGE.
With this step, it simultaneously provides users with a newer search experience – and the rate at which users need to click to get answers is low. Various answers will be available to users, making the process even easier. Note that this feature is integrated directly into Google's main search, rather than into other services such as Google Bard that are provided separately.
Through the expansion of this Search Labs feature to two new countries, it is not impossible to see it continue to be introduced to users in other countries gradually after this.
Let's all look forward to what Google will do with SGE in the coming months, as well as how they compete better with Bing Chat by Microsoft, as well as other search engine providers.
