All platforms now want a Stories-like feature popularized by Snapchat. A feature that was once considered useless was copied by Twitter, Instagram and Telegram. Most recently, Google also got stuck with the concept of Stories by including it on the Google Play Store.
Yes, the main app store for downloading apps on Android will have a Stories-like feature called The Play Report. It is restricted to Google employees only at this time. The Play Report is a short video content about popular app reports.
Each video will be presented by Google's own employees, app developers or influencers. It is part of the Our Monthly Picks series, New on Play and the Teacher approved program. Videos will be displayed at the top of the Play Store with an interface similar to Shorts on YouTube.
