Google Will Remove "Basic HTML" Display Feature For GMail In January 2024

Many people today are ready to use GMail with a normal display, as well as enjoy a number of interesting features that are present in the email client. This will make Google end support for the "Basic HTML" display feature on GMail. Google stated that it will remove this "Basic HTML" feature in January 2024.

GMail Basic HTML brings the basic display for the email service under Google. It was previously popular for use when the internet connection was slow - but now with more people using 5G networks and also fiber-based connections, users of the Basic HTML version are getting less and less every day.

After that date, Google will bring all users to the normal view of GMail. The advantage of GMail's normal view is the integration of a number of interesting features, including in terms of formatting, the ease of integration of the address book list, checking spelling, and so on.

As for you, do you still use GMail in Basic HTML mode?
