The Sports Management System provided by Alibaba Cloud aims to manage media personnel as well as athletes, staff, volunteers, and all the workforce involved in making the Hangzhou Asian Games a success this time. Most of these deals use Dingtalk, which is one of the applications from Alibaba that was originally intended for company management, but can be used for the same purpose during this Asian sports event.
The Scoring System is one of the most important systems in any event, and Alibaba Cloud has provided the infrastructure for a complete and fast scoring system, based on a cloud computing system. In fact, all scoring information no longer uses a physical server, and guarantees a more sustainable use of energy.
To ensure the sustainability of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games, Alibaba Cloud also provides an operational platform to manage facilities, locations, and day-to-day logistics. They have built a system to monitor traffic and spectator congestion, and provide alternative travel recommendations for both athletes and spectators. Even if there is a location that is too crowded, the system will give a warning to suggest preventive measures to ensure everyone's safety.
And completing all of this sports experience is a cloud computing-based broadcasting system provided by Alibaba Cloud. Through this kind of system, it does not use high costs like satellite-based sports broadcasting systems. Satellite broadcasting systems are usually expensive in terms of equipment and time, but with cloud computing-based broadcasting systems, Alibaba Cloud also provides broadcasts in HD and UHD resolution for 68 channels.
To date, from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, to the Olympic E-Sports Week events, the Alibaba Cloud platform has been used extensively, and allows them to continuously innovate at each event.
