Honda's iconic Motocompacto motorcycle is now offered in an electric version

If you grew up in the 80s or read Dragon Ball comics, you must have seen the Honda Motocompacto compact motorcycle. Based on the name you can definitely guess it's a small motorcycle aimed at short distance travel and it was marketed until 1983. After 40 years, the Honda Motocompacto is now back in an electric version.

Like the original Motocompacto, this new version retains the foldable compact design that allows it to be stored in the car when not in use. It can travel at a speed of 25 km/h, travel a distance of 20 km on a single charge and recharge in 3.5 hours.

When folded, the size is like a bag weighing around 19 kilograms only. The maximum weight of the rider is 120 kilograms. Honda says this electric Motocompacto is aimed at the last mile in the city with it selling for $995 (~RM4665) a.
