The Huawei Eyewear 2 smart glasses were launched in Barcelona this week and are a continuation of the smart glasses they have been offering since 2019. The Huawei Eyewear 2 brings improvements in battery life which now offers up to 11 hours of music streaming and an even better 50 minute recharge compared to only 5 hours in the first generation.
It can also make phone calls when tethered to a smartphone. The Eyeware 2 frame is made of titanium weighing under 5 grams. With it passing the IP54 standard Eyewear 2 is also dust and splash proof. Eyewear 2 functions are controlled via a touch pad on the handle. The built-in speaker on the stem comes with a noise canceling system so that clear voice calls can be made by the wearer.
Huawei says Eyewear 2 can not only be used on HarmonyOS devices but also on Android, iOS and Windows. A pair of Huawei Eyewear 2 is sold at a price of €300 (~RM1500) starting this October.
