Instax is no stranger to offering a variety of polaroid and instant cameras marketed by Fujifilm. The latest Instax Pal has been launched with quite different elements from the existing products.
It comes with a compact size body, which is only the size of the palm of your hand and weighs 41 grams. Next, there is no ability to print immediately, instead this camera needs to be connected to a specific application via bluetooth connection and prints can be made using other Instax cameras, but the best option is the Mini Link 2.
This camera was advertised as the first digital camera under the Instax branding. It is equipped with a 4.9-megapixel CMOS sensor, along with exposure control that can automatically optimize the shutter speed between 1/4 to 1/8000 second.
The sensor also supports a standard ISO range between 100 – 1,600, in addition to a wide-angle lens that is very useful for capturing more diverse images. There are also up to 18 filters available for more interesting shots, along with the ability to add text and stickers at the same time.
Pictures can be taken using a dedicated physical button, while also offering a time-lapse shooting function that allows images to be taken continuously with three-second intervals. A built-in speaker allows for easy image capture using voice control.
Other specifications include a USB-C port, a microSD card slot (the internal memory can hold 50 images, a screw mount for a tripod, a small viewfinder and a detachable ring-shaped hanger. The retail price is $199.95 (~RM937) and will be available from October .
