Apple TV is my favorite TV box. This is because it offers an interesting user experience with smooth performance, consistent video quality and can easily play the first Apple Arcade. It's just that the main problem for the new generation Apple TV TV box is that if there is a problem, the user has to contact Apple because it is difficult to repair.
Recently, Apple has introduced a workaround where users can use their iPhone to restore a problematic Apple TV box. The screen will display the image of the iPhone along with the Apple TV. The user just needs to unlock the iPhone, place it near the Apple TV and the message “Apple TV is recovering” will be displayed.
Apple TV will continue to reformat automatically. Users now no longer need to contact Apple Support for repairs. This feature is limited to iPhone with iOS 17 and also Apple TV with tvOS 17.
