The IQOO Z8 series has been officially launched in China, at the same time completing the product segment. There are two models announced with a similar design but different internal hardware according to their respective classes.
Starting with the IQOO Z8, it comes with a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen that also supports 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. This is also matched with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip, memory up to 12GB RAM and storage up to 512GB for the main end.
The device also packs a 64MP + 2MP dual main camera with built-in OIS, while the selfie camera is 16MP. The battery is 5000mAh and supports wired 120W fast charging. Other specifications include a side fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS and a USB-C port.
Speaking of the IQOO Z8X, it also uses a 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD screen and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, 12GB LPDDR4X RAM memory and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage for the mainstay.
Also provided is a dual-camera system with 50MP +2MP settings, while the selfie camera is 8MP. The battery is also large at 6,000mAh which supports 120W wired fast charging. Other specifications include a side fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/GLONASS and a USB-C port.
The selling price of the device starts at RMB1,699 (~RM1,086), RMB1,799 (~RM1,149) and RMB1,999 (~RM1,277) for the IQOO Z8. Meanwhile, the IQOO Z8X is priced at RMB1,299 (~RM830), RMB1,399 (~RM894) and RMB1,499 (~RM958). No details on the availability of the device for the Malaysian market are known so far.
