Jabra has come up with two new wireless earphones through the introduction of the Elite 8 Active and the Elite 10. Both are equipped with a very similar compact design, but the user focus is necessarily different. Where the Elite 8 Active is suitable for rugged activities, meanwhile the enhanced call and audio quality is the main focus for the Elite 10.
In particular, the Elite 8 Active is equipped with a set of 6mm audio drivers that also support six microphones and a built-in adaptive active noise cancellation system. Fast tethering is possible via bluetooth 5.3 for connecting devices with AAC/SBC codecs.
In the meantime, it also passes IP68 waterproof protection for the earphones and IP54 for the charging pod. In addition to having MIL-STD 810H durability. The included battery is capable of lasting 8 hours of use, and increases to 32 hours with the help of a charging pod that also supports wireless charging.
Speaking of the Elite 10, a pair of 10mm audio drivers are used which also support six microphones and a built-in adaptive active noise cancellation system. Quick tethering is also possible via Bluetooth 5.3 for connection to devices with AAC/SBC codec support.
Also complementing it is a waterproof rating and a battery that can last up to six hours of use. It can however be increased to 27 hours with the help of a charging pod and also supports wireless charging.
The Jabra Elite 8 Active is sold for $199 (~RM922), while the Jabra Elite 10 costs $249 (~RM1,154) per unit. As far as is known, Jabrate has confirmed the availability of the Elite 8 Active for the Malaysian market, but details about the price are still a mystery.
