In addition to the Lenovo Legion Go mobile game console, Lenovo also introduced their latest Legion laptop that not only offers the latest and most powerful components, but also an internal cooling system that is not always seen on a laptop.
At the IFA 2023 event, Lenovo has introduced their latest and most powerful gaming laptop, the Lenovo Legion 9i powered by Intel and NVIDIA processing chips for the greatest laptop to date, namely the Intel Core i9-13980HK and also the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
In the meantime, it is also equipped with LPDDR5X memory options up to 64GB and also 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage that can be upgraded if you need larger storage.
This laptop also comes with Lenovo PureSight MiniLED screen display with 3.2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. It also has a higher 16:10 ratio and can fit more content in it.
In terms of design, this laptop retains the minimalist design of previous Legion laptops, but has a "camo" pattern and the placement of plugs such as USB Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1 and RJ-45 plugs around the frame this laptop.
In terms of wireless connection support, this Lenovo Legion 9i supports WiFi7 connection and also the latest Bluetooth 5.3.
In the meantime, the uniqueness of this laptop can be seen in the use of the Legion Coldfront cooling system which uses liquid cooling technology built into the laptop. This cooling system was developed in collaboration with Cooler Master, and is activated when the GPU component reaches a temperature of 84 degrees Celsius. It will then cool the GPU part as well as the VRAM to ensure that they are operating at optimum levels.
To cool the other components, this cooling system is also present with the use of three fans that help in flowing hot air from the component parts efficiently.
It also has a 99.9Wh battery that can be charged using a 330W Slim Adapter charger and also a 140W Type-C charger provided in the box when purchased.
Lenovo says that the Legion 9i laptop will arrive in selected markets starting this October at a starting price of 4,499 Euros (~RM22,680).
