It's LG's turn to enter the laptop market with a foldable screen with the launch of the LG Gram Fold yesterday. It's a laptop equipped with a 17″ QXGA+ OLED screen that can be folded. Like rival devices ASUS Zenbook 17 Fold OLED and HP Specter Foldable PC, the Gram Fold can be used in laptop, tablet, desktop and tent modes.
A 17″ screen when folded will give two 12″ screens. Users can type directly on the screen or through the provided bluetooth keyboard. Stylus support is also provided to sketch directly on the screen. The Intel i5-1335U chip is used with Intel Iris Xe graphics, 16GB RAM memory, 512GB NVMe SSD storage and a 72Wh battery.
There are two USB-C ports with one of them supporting Thunderbolt 4. The audio system comes with a Dolby Atmos audio system. Currently LG Gram Fold is only sold in South Korea at a price of 4.99 million Won (~RM17,400) each.
