The Mediatek Dimensity 9300 chip will be launched in just a few months as a competitor to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Apple A17 Bionic. As a flagship chip, Dimensity 9300 has to offer high processing power but at the same time without heating issues or excessive battery consumption.
But according to a report by Android Headlines, MediaTek is now facing a dilemma as the Dimensity 9300 has heating issues when running at the desired speed. MediaTek can reduce CPU speed but this will have an impact on processing power.
With the revision launch imminent, MediaTek needs to find a solution to this issue before losing customers. What we can see this year is that while the Dimensity 9200 chip is comparable to the Snapdragob 8 Gen 2, it doesn't offer comparable battery life and runs hotter.
According to previous rumors Dimensity 9300 will use 4nm technology with a combination of Cortex-X4, Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A515 CPUs.
