Microsoft Document About Xbox Leaked Yesterday Confirmed Authentic

Yesterday Microsoft's plan to launch Xbox Series X without a disc drive, a new 2028 console with an ARM chip and a hybrid and a controller with improved haptics leaked to the web arena. The authenticity of over 100 confirmed leaked documents is now verified by Microsoft itself. It's a document that Microsoft submitted to the court for its case against the FTC.

Documents are uploaded to cloud storage according to the instructions given by the court. The link to this storage was accessed by a third party causing Microsoft's long-term plans as well as some unannounced games to be leaked.

The FTC blamed Microsoft for this leak. Meanwhile, Phil Spencer who is the head of the Xbox unit stated that this regret happened. Spencer added that the leaked document is quite old and the company's plans have changed since the document was produced.

Still, it's interesting to see Microsoft want to produce a console with hybrid cloud capabilities and features to increase resolution and frame rate using AI like current NVIDIA chips. Whether it becomes a reality or not will only be known when the next generation Xbox is launched around 2028.
