Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 was also updated early this morning with an Intel Core i7-13800H chip with a choice of three NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6GB GDDR6 GPUs, GeForce RTX 4060 6GB 8DDR6 or NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation. The Studio Laptop Series is unique in that it can not only operate as a laptop, but can also transform into a desktop or tablet mode via its repositionable screen.
Talking about the screen, it comes with a 14.4″ PixelSense Flow screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1600, touch support and Dolby Vision IQ. The screen can also be used with the Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus. The memory is up to 65GB LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB SSD Gen 4 storage that can be upgraded by the owner himself.
I/O options are 2x USB-C Thubderbolit 4, USB-A 3.1, microSDXC card reader and 3.5mm audio jack. WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity are also included. There is a choice of using Windows 11 Pro or Windows 10 Pro. The camera is full HD that supports the Windows Hello face scan system. At the time the article was written, the sales price had not yet been announced for this 1.98kg workstation laptop.
