OpenAI has already announced their latest version of their artificial intelligence-based text-to-image generator, DALL-E 3 recently. It will be integrated to paid ChatGPT users starting this October.
In line with the announcement, now Microsoft also shared that it will integrate DALL-E 3 to a number of their products, including Bing Chat. With this step, users can use Bing Chat to generate images directly through conversation, and get better and better quality generated images. DALL-E 3 brings improved generation support, including the ability to generate text in generated images.
In addition to Bing Chat, Microsoft also said it will integrate DALL-E 3 support on other products, including Bing Image Creator and Microsoft Designer.
This integration step may be expected by many considering Microsoft's investment and cooperation in OpenAI. Microsoft's announcement also shows that Bing Chat users will be able to access this DALL-E 3 generated model for free when it is integrated later.
