In addition to information about the Xbox Series X console without a disc drive, also leaked are Microsoft's long-term plans for the Xbox series of consoles. Based on the leaked graphics, the next Xbox console will appear in 2028, eight years after the Series X and Series S launch.
Microsoft is also seen to be considering the use of ARM chips to replace the current X86-64 system. ARM CPUs will be matched to AMD GPUs or GPUs developed in collaboration with AMD. The GPU will continue to support ray tracing as well as be able to perform graphics upgrades using machine learning just like DLSS 3.5 on NVIDIA RTX GPUs now.
In addition there is a text about hybrid games in the cloud that can be accessed by users. Microsoft is also interested in studying the use of AI for testing video games as well as content generation. All this is still in the planning stage only.
