OpenAI Adds Voice Support to ChatGPT

OpenAI today shared the latest developments and additions of some of the latest exciting features to their ChatGPT offering below. Stealing a lot of attention is the introduction of voice support on ChatGPT.

With this step, it will simultaneously allow users to ask questions with voice input, or chat with ChatGPT. It will further offer answers or replies in the form of voice as well.

This new feature is being rolled out gradually for ChatGPT Plus users through the ChatGPT app on Android and iOS. The same support offer for free version users is not yet known.

Users can easily ask questions, and subsequently receive replies in a choice of five different voices.

Besides that, the latest update of ChatGPT also allows you to upload pictures and ask questions related to those pictures. For example, you can take a picture of an electronic item and then ask why it doesn't work, or how to use it and so on. It can also be used to solve math problems and so on.

This new feature is being rolled out gradually to a number of users. Along with this announcement, OpenAI also announced a collaboration with Spotify - where Spotify will use OpenAI's artificial intelligence technology to translate selected podcasts while maintaining the voice and style of the original presenter.
