A few months ago, we reported that YouTube was testing an online gaming feature on their video streaming platform. A few days ago, YouTube confirmed the existence of this test and it is called Playables.
Playables are games that can be accessed on desktop or mobile devices. Selected users will see the "Playables" category appear on the YouTube home screen. Every game played can also be accessed on YouTube History.
Among the games that will be offered is Stack Bounce, an arcade game where players control falling balls to break layers of bricks. YouTube says this test is limited to a small group only and it is not yet sure when it will be rolled out to the public.
