Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today made a presentation involving the Twelfth Malaysia Plan in Parliament, while also sharing various initiatives that will be implemented to continue driving the country forward.
One of the initiatives announced is the Digital Education Policy. It will be launched soon.
In relation to this, DPD is implemented in an effort to produce digitally literate students who are competitive through increasing knowledge, skills and values.
Among DPD's main initiatives are the implementation of education digital competency training programs, curriculum improvement, education programs and the creation of a digital education jewel team.
This step is also expected to ensure digital fluency among teachers, students and school leaders. In addition, it will also reduce the digital divide between schools - regardless of location.
We may hear more about the implementation of this Digital Education Policy in the near future.
