Pos Digicert has today introduced their own digital identity solution, called iDsaya. For information, last 2019, Pos Malaysia was ready to show their digital identity prototype, and today through Pos Digicert, the iDsaya offering has been made available to everyone.
iDsaya is a digital identity offering with authentication features - allowing users to use it in the registration of various services easily and quickly. Through the example shown, iDsaya is shown to be used for registration at the clinic, where when arriving at the clinic, the user only needs to use iDsaya and scan the QR code for registration. Everything will be automatically registered – and there will no longer be a need to go through a manual process like today which requires the user to provide a MyKad and wait for the registration process.
In addition, iDsaya can also be expanded to cover various other services - including for e-commerce, telecommunications account registration, bank account registration, dealing with the government, and so on.
Pos also stated that iDsaya also includes a passwordless login offering – for services that support it, in addition to support for digital signatures using iDsaya.
For now, iDsaya is still in its early stages, and maybe we'll see it marketed with various other partners when it's official launch later.
For those of you who are interested in trying iDsaya, you can download the iDsaya application on your Android or iPhone device.
