A few months ago the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro was launched. It is a dedicated set of headphones for video game players who are active in the e-sports arena. The selling price is RM1099 and it is packed with features and functions but not everyone can afford it. Recently, the Razer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed has been launched which is a cheaper version with more or less the same specifications.
Built-in 1.8 meter long cable, supports noise isolation system, 50mm dynamic type audio driver, SBC codec, HyperClear Super Wideband Mic microphone, 2.4 GHz connection, Bluetooth or USB and uses memory foam ear cups. Razer also stated that their set of headphones is only 280 grams and it is light to ensure that the wearer remains comfortable and the head does not feel heavy.
The BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed also has a volume control knob, a mute button and a RazerSwitch button to change connection modes. Razer also maintains THX Spatial Audio, battery life can reach 70 hours and there is no RGB lighting system.
The selling price is RM729 and is limited to black color only. If you're wondering what the main difference between the Pro version and this one is the non-removable microphone, slightly different ear cup construction material and support for wired connection.
